Get it done!!

I totally did half of this Friday. But OMG.. the kids totally gave me their germs and I felt like total poop Friday night and woke up Saturday with a fever, So not cool! I haven't been sick in a longtime. I do NOT tolerate it well. Well I mean who likes to be sick? But I am a mover, active, always busy trying to accomplish something. Laying in bed a whole day nearly made me insane! I can not cope with feeling lazy. I end up laying there with this horrible urge to clean something or help the kids build something and then I try to move and can barely stand... That feeling causes me literal PAIN. Today I will share all of my work from Friday. If I try to combine too much into one blog post it will be insane! Working hard to get things done today as well and will just save all those lovelies for tomorrow. Tomorrow I am starting boot camp at the gym and getting everyone fully back into the swing of school and therapy appointments after last weeks battle of the bug around here. So I will not get a tremendous amount of things created to blog about. So today's projects can wait a day while I share Friday's.

The morning began as any other... awake... get ready for the gym.. dawn my newly purchased gym wear that I so scored at kohls on clearance with a coupon added for over 90% off! But, there was one issue... Khayman who had thrown up all day Thursday was still under the weather some. But I was determined to try anyhow. I woke him to see how he felt and with all other littles asleep he felt he could monitor during gym without issue. I hit it hard at the gym and did my 30 minutes of cardio and started on weights when he messaged that Kel was being a real twerp after waking and he felt really bad so I cut the gym short and returned.

OMG was Kel being a twerp! I did manage to make my dairy free ice cream and my apple cobbler to share on the site here. I really needed to make fresh ones before putting my recipes up because - photos - I mean I AM a photographer I can't be putting things online that don't have photos to go with them. But that child... I had to restart and clean up twice while baking and then shower him. I don't even know how he does it. I should nickname him Pig Pen. None of my 5 other children ever were obsessively dirty. But 5 minutes with ANY item and he can look like he hasn't seen a bath in days. Just FYI if you see us out with the little filthy bugger let it be known he gets one AT LEAST once a day. AT LEAST! He has more times than I care to recall gotten 3 showers/baths a day. The child is so not neglected he is just a little piggy.

The recipes came out perfect as usual because I don't mean to brag but I am a good cook. It's a skill I can at least be proud of.

I did do that selfish sewing you saw in the blog post below. I chose that pattern as the Racer Back tanks do not hide any of my tattoos. And I spent way to much time and money on those beauties to hide them! Some snapshots of that art below. The two upper arms were done by Blake and Black Cobra Tattoos and the two back shoulders by Shawn, also at Black Cobra. The did fantastic work didn't they!!

All of my tattoos are very symbolic. I am not a person who gets a tattoo just because it looks cool or just because its pretty. They all have deep meaning to me. I will explain them to you below. Maybe this will help to explain ME better as well.

This tattoo I for my children and my husband and I. I have endometriosis. I had a lot of issues with it when I was younger and more than one dr. informed me that having kids would be hard. The were incorrect. So this is a BARREN magnolia branch (thu…

This tattoo I for my children and my husband and I. I have endometriosis. I had a lot of issues with it when I was younger and more than one dr. informed me that having kids would be hard. The were incorrect. So this is a BARREN magnolia branch (thus the lack of leaves) with my 6 blossoms. And one small start of a bud to not forget the one loss we had. The birds are for my hubby and I, with our initials in the branch. That branch of course has leaves.

This tattoo symbolized me. I need to add to it to add more of ME to it. But in time. The two main things that fill my head (thus the skull) are my photography and my sewing. It's not a girlie tattoo. I know that. I am NOT a girlie girl. That's just …

This one was also for me, obviously this one is not about what's in my head but about what is in my heart. People have always called me funny, silly, goofy.. those sort of things. And I do use humor to cope when things are hard. But the clown that exists does cry inside from time to time. The cracks and the tears are still there and still very real. But I am the clown as well. The goofy fun loving person who wants to make everyone smile. Occasionally the mask falls though and the cracks and the tears are there to see.

At this point I should certainly save the rest for tomorrow! But rest assured there will be much to share! I have to be moving.. have to be creating.. and the kids have lot of plans for the afternoon!
