CHOOSING A LOCATION

The first step in choosing a location is to consider what you want to accomplish. Casual, formal, fun, cheery, energetic… what mood do you want your portraits to convey? Is the location significant or just a backdrop for which to present the subject?

Your own land or property is always great if you have animals especially. But downtown on various fun colorfully painted walls can yield fun results as well.

The next thing to consider are clothing choices. To match or not to match… that IS the question.

Simple matched solids are always a safe bet with larger groups.

Coordinating without exact matches give more pop for a more casual look.
